Finally Jose Mourinho was relieved of his duties as Manchester United Manager. However, he was immediately replaced with Former United captain Micheal Carrick who is now appointed interim manager Manchester United
Jose Mourinho was in control of the Red Devils for barely three years and just like that, he is no longer calling the shot for team.
However, Manchester United have had poor results all through their campaign including their 3-1 bashing at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.
The 55-year-old Mourinho got the job of as manager of Manchester United after he resigned at Chelsea in the 2016-2017season and has won three trophies. But his current campaign at the Old Trafford has been bad so far, as he could only win 7 out of 17 matches including five losses and five draws.
However, the management of Manchester United have decided that Mourinho’s assistant and former captain Micheal Carrick is reportedly going to be in charge until a new manager is appointed.
It was glaring that Mourinho also had issues with United chief Ed Woodward for not signing a center-back to solve his defensive problems and refusing him to sell Anthony Martial after United’s tour of the United States. However, 90 per cent of the entire squad and backroom staffs have lost faith in the charismatic manager who has impeccable record in management.
With all of the scenario that have played out over time, it seem Mourinho had it coming!
