The Big Brother Naija is here again. The reality show that gets many Nigerians glued to their TV screen is here again and the anticipation of the fans of the show is really red hot.
Here are facts to know about the Season 4 edition of the reality TV show.
IT IS HOLDING HERE IN NIGERIA – The biggest of the news is that this year’s edition of the show will be taking place right here in Nigeria and so many preparations are currently ongoing at ensuring that the show is a huge success in the country. The house for the show is reported to be currently under construction to comply with the global standard the show is identified with.
SEVERAL AUDITIONING LOCATIONS – The auditioning for this year’s edition of the show held across a total of 8 different locations namely: Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri, Ibadan, Benin and Enugu with thousands of contestants turning up for the auditioning which held on the 1st and 2nd of February at the various locations.
DURATION – This year’s edition will last for complete 90 days as against some of the previous editions that had fewer days and this is another interesting news for the fans of the show, many of whom always wish the show will never come to an end.
NEW HEADLINE SPONSOR – A new brand will take over from Payporte . After headlining two seasons as the major sponsor, Payporte will have to step aside as Betnaija will be the headline sponsor this time around.
SAME HOST – Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, host of the last two editions of the show will again be the host this time around. Ebuka, an alumnus of the show was one of the housemates of the first edition which was won by Katung Aduwak and hosted by Olisa Adibua and Michelle Dede. He will be doing it again and we hope to see him get better at it.
