The Good Morning Britain host also sparked the classic ‘Messi vs Ronaldo’ debate as he ended the tweet with the hashtag, ‘GOAT’, to say Ronaldo is the best player of all time rather than Messi.

Morgan tweeted, “Barcelona wouldn’t have lost that game if @Cristiano had been playing for them. Fact. #GOAT.”

Earlier in the night, Morgan had also tweeted: “Over-rated: #messi”
