Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote who also ranked 25th richest in the world has announced to the world why he may eventually marry a Christian woman as a Muslim man.
As a Nigerian business magnate worth 25 million dollars, Aliko Dangote spoke to Aljazeera about his personal life, revealing the role of religion in his personal life with reference to his marriage.
In his words, the founder and CEO of Dangote Group said “Weather you are a Muslim or Christian, it’s not always good to be too extreme in your own religion. We worship the same God, it’s just different believes”.

He further explained “Religion is something between you and your God, and I personally believe that we should practice what they are practicing in the south because in the south you can see somebody who is a Muslim marrying a Christian”.
“Even in the north, I have seen some of my Muslim friends that married Christian and do not ask them to change their religion”

Dangote further stressed saying, “If I want to marry a Christian lady now, am not going to force her to change”
This however hinted Dangote’s religious tolerance and the world shouldn’t be surprise if Africa’s richest man wakes up tomorrow morning and decides to marry a Christian lady without forcing her to change to his own religion.
