With the total net worth of about 9.72 trillion naira ($2.7 billion), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been ranked one of the richest politicians.
As a political figure and the back bone of the All Progressives Party, a popular political party in Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has become the force to be reckoned with not just in the Nigerian political scene but world over.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, popularly known as Jagaban has amassed so much wealth and riches for himself and below are some which you might not have known before now

According to reports, the billionaire Bola Ahmed Tinubu owns the following properties
  • Prime land of 157 hectares with 2.5 km of Atlantic beach front valued at about 10 billion naira.
  • 14 hectares Parkview Ikoyi Estate foreshore land reclaimed by Lagos state government, the annex of Lagos State Guest House in Asokoro , Abuja which the state government purchased in 2006 for 450 million naira.
  • A five bed room detached house on one acre of land valued at 450 million naira.
  • His home at Boudillon worth over 1 billion naira
  • 25 hectares of lands located at Ajah junction on Lekki road estimated at 35 billion naira.
  • Fishery Landing Jetty in Badore, the Ogudu Foreshore Scheme worth 15 billion naira.

Tinubu is also said to own 1,000 hectares of lands located at Lakowe close to Abijo at Ijebu-Lekki Local Government Area valued at 75 billion naira.
Worthy of note is fact that some of these properties were said to be originally meant for the development of the public by Lagos state government but were suddenly owned by jagaban, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

As for investments, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is said to own several investment portfolios and privates jets. He is allegedly the owner of the one of the largest producing oil companies called Oando which is managed by his blood brother.  Oando is said to be producing with the equity of 162 billion naira and a revenue of 449 million.
Another on the list of his investments is the TVC Radio Continental
Jagaban also own costly private jets with most exquisite known as Bombardier Global Express XRS which is estimated at 60 million dollars
Tinubu also own luxury cars one of which include G-Wagon, built with bomb detector apparatus, surveillance camera and bulletproof. This luxury car is worth 600 million naira.
All the properties, investments and share interests he own in various companies sum up to about 9.72 trillion naira ($2.7 billion).

However, different political figures have alarmed the EFCC to investigate Jagaban at different time but it is not clear as to why EFCC has not yet investigated how a former governor and a party leader as amassed so much wealth.
Some of the prominent Nigerians who have alarmed EFCC on Tinubu are Reno Omokri and Bode George, questioning EFCC on why Tinubu has not been investigated especially on the bullion van that entered Tinubu’s house on the day of the presidential election, since the Buhari’s administration boasts itself in fighting corruption. Tinubu has however, revealed what the bullion brought into his house at Boudillon
