Reliable source has finally revealed what DSS did to El-Zakzaky which is why the federal government continued to keep him in detention.

According to source, a medical report  was produced by the Department of State Services based on the examination conducted on the detained leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, on July 8, 2019. This report shows that he is need of urgent medical treatment which the DSS wouldn’t allow him get.

On the July 12, 2019, the DSS ordered that test be conducted at the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Department of Family Medicine just a few days before his legal counsel, Femi Falana filed a bail application urging the court to grant the detained Shiite leader,El- Zakzaky permission to travel abroad for medical treatment. However, the court had ordered another investigation of health claims despite existing proofs that El-Zakzaky is sick from the DSS.

According to the report signed by the Head of Family Medicine BDTH, the  60 years old El-Zakzaky  is “hypertensive” and suffers from “Hemimiparesis with left facial neck paralysis 18 months ago, secondary to the Ischemic phenomena in the brain.”

Meanwhile, El-Zakzaky the Shiite hero was in April 2019 diagnosed by a team of foreign doctors of having, “Ischaemic heart disease, left ventricular hypertrophy, chronic hypertension, cervical spondylitis causing nerve compression, right eye severe visual impairment with progressive open glaucoma, macular atrophy and left eye anophthalmia in addition to mental toxicity.”

The fate of El-Zakzaky, the Shiite leader remains unknown at the moment as the federal government kept him detained despite court order mandating his release.

Although the federal government has recently received a judgment from the court, declaring the Shiite group a terrorist organization, it is however unclear the next step that the presidency will be taking against the Shiite group who are now declared terrorists while their leader El-Zakzaky continues to remain in detention.
